How to Wear

Front Carry
  • Tie shorter straps around your waist with the side you want facing out against your body.
  • Hold the baby so that they can wrap their legs around you. If you are wearing a newborn tuck his legs up inside.
  • While supporting the baby, pull the body of the carrier up between his legs and over his back.
  • While holding onto the straps you may do a little bounce to get the baby down into the carrier.
  • Hold you baby with one hand. Use the other hand and grab both of the top straps that are now over your shoulders.
  • Cross them across your back while making sure you are pulling them tight enough to support the baby.
  • Bring them back around the front and tie them with a square knot either behind your baby’s back or under his bottom.

Hip Carry

  • Tie shorter straps around your waist on your side with the side you want facing out against your body.
  • Put the baby on your hip and then pull the panel up between his legs.
  • Put one hand on the baby’s back and pull the front strap up and across your opposite shoulder.
  • Take the other strap and either put it across the opposite shoulder crossing the front strap or put it under the arm.
  • Tie under the baby or behind his back.
Back Carry
  • Tie shorter straps around your waist with the side you want facing out against your body.
  • Put your baby on your back. Baby needs to be centered on your back.
  • While holding on to the baby with one hand, pull the body of the carrier up between his legs and over his back.
  • Pull the straps and do a little bounce while you pull on the straps to ensure that the baby is down into the Baby Tai.
  • Pull the straps over your shoulders and then back under your arms and tie the straps under the baby’s bottom or behind his back.
  • You may choose to cross the straps in the front if that is more comfortable for you and your baby.
